December 2021
As I look back on past newsletters, the last time we were in Thailand
was November 2019 for the dedication of the new multi-purpose
building. We had plans in 2020 to return and had to cancel trips three
different times that year. (Click on “December 2021” above to view the complete newsletter.)

Cricket is a sport that we know little about, but several of the children at Gethsemane love it. Two of our Gethsemane girls, Sunida and Rachel, have been playing cricket at a high level for several years and are now on the Thailand National Women’s Cricket Team. June 2021
For us, starting Under the Son Ministries began before June 17, 2011, but that was the day, along with Bobbi, we arrived in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Five days later we were introduced to Titus and Newa, along with the six orphan and at-risk children they had recently taken in. (Click on “June 2021” above to view the complete newsletter.)
March 2021
On the evening of January 16th, Titus and Newa made a trip to the town of Omkoi so we could surprise Simeon with the news of building a new church in Na Khrai village. Titus and Newa were unable to travel all the way into the Na Khrai because of COVID. (Click on “March 2021” above to view the complete newsletter.)

God has truly blessed Gethsemane Home and these amazing children (young adults)! As we begin our tenth year of Under the Son Ministries, we are so thankful God gave us the opportunity to meet them and help to mentor them. (Click on “September 2020” above to view the complete newsletter.)
June 2020
When emailing our December 2019 newsletter, we stated the following: “As we look ahead to the new year, there is so much happening with the ministry in Thailand! At this time, we will return to Thailand for the month of March. We’re not sure yet what the rest of the year will look like.” We definitely had no idea what 2020 would look like and still don’t. March 2020
With the rise of cases of COVID-19 during the month of February, it became evident to Donella and myself that we should cancel our March trip back to Thailand. At the time this was not a decision we wanted to make. (click on “March 2020” above to view the complete newsletter.)

After arriving back in Thailand the middle of September, there was much to do in preparing for the new multi-purpose building’s October 18th dedication. Big pans and pots for cooking, along with plates, bowls, and spoons were purchased to feed the many big groups that will be coming for various functions. September 2019
We returned to Thailand on September 18th and will be here a couple of months. Our main emphasis on this trip is the dedication of the new multi-purpose building and celebrating two young ladies from Gethsemane Home who recently graduated from university.
