Gethsemane Home Spring 2013

Gethsemane Home is growing! We have added another set of house parents and 7 more children. There is now a need for more dependable transportation and a larger property. This is an immediate need, and we are asking you to partner with us to reach our goal of $25,000 by June 1, 2013.

Gethsemane Home

Since moving to Thailand we have agreed to provide total support for Gethsemane Home north of Doi Saket. Titus and Newa are the house parents and have two children of their own. They have taken in six children. We have already purchased them a washing machine and hope to buy wardrobes and bookcases soon.

We are looking for sponsors for the eight children. $80 a month per child will provide them with food, clothing, shelter, and an education. This amount also gives the house parents an income. If you are interested, please contact us, and we will provide you information on your child and how to contribute.

Monthly Partners

We are looking for people who would like to partner with us on a monthly basis. Although Donella’s income at CMIS will provide for many of our basic needs, it will not supply us with the funds necessary to meet our mission goals. One immediate expense we have is Intensive Thai courses that Steve and Bobbi will be taking beginning August 22nd.  Knowledge of the language is essential if we are to minister to the people here. There are also additional expenses associated with supporting an orphan home such as medical needs, repairs, and home improvements.
