We have been busy since our return from Thailand sharing the work of Under the Son Ministries with churches and other groups. It is always rewarding to see the interest people have in what Under the Son Ministries is doing. (Click on “June 2019” above to view the complete newsletter.)

Brittany Burns approached us before we left the States about doing a Penny War Fundraiser at her school. The funds collected would be used to purchase new bedding for all of the children at Gethsemane Home. (Click on “March 2019” above to view the complete newsletter.)

After much prayer and waiting on God’s timing, we are returning to the ministry fulltime in January. Our plan each year will be to live in Thailand six months working with the staff of Under the Son Ministries and in the U.S. six months visiting churches and raising funds to operate the ministry. September 2018
We returned to Thailand in July and had the opportunity to visit most of the areas where Under the Son Ministries is evangelizing. When we left the U.S., we knew we would be participating in several house dedications and church visits. (Click on “September 2018” above to view the complete newsletter.)

It is with sad hearts that we share the passing of Grandma Ruth. She went to her heavenly home on May 8th and will be dearly missed. (Click on “June 2018” above to view the complete newsletter.)

Finding a way to get electricity in the villages has always been a challenge. Zaccheus lives in a village that has no electricity unless you have a generator or solar panels. Judah and Leah have been without electricity in their new mission house. (Click on “March 2018” above to view the complete newsletter.)
December 2017
We are in Thailand at this time. We are keeping busy during these two weeks. We will share more about this trip in our next newsletter. (Click on “December 2017” above to view the complete newsletter.)

In the fall of 2012, the new house was finished at Gethsemane Home. One of the great things about the new house was that it gave Newa a big kitchen. Over the last several years, Newa has cooked thousands of meals in her kitchen. But there are a couple of issues for Newa that come from cooking inside, smoke and grease. We all know how involved children here in the States can get with summer activities. We have noticed that the same is true for several of our children at Gethsemane home. During their summer break, four children from Gethsemane Home represented Chiang Mai province in a national 15 and under cricket tournament held in Chanthaburi province. We always enjoy this time of year seeing new growth take place. In the same manner, we are celebrating the growth that is happening with Under the Son Ministries through the work of those on the mission field in Thailand. With this growth comes many changes and the need for sacrifice in our efforts to spread the gospel of Christ. We thank you for the continued prayers and sacrifices you have made to support our ministry team. (Click on “March 2017” above to view the complete newsletter.)
